The AfricanGPT Knowledge Library is built only from open-license sources. This page lists every source used in the pilot dataset and the licence under which it is reused.
How we use these sources
Content marked
Government-public works (e.g. national constitutions, statutory registers) are used only where the underlying content is in the public domain or where the publishing body explicitly permits reuse. Where reuse terms are unclear, the item is held back in our staging area until terms are confirmed.
The Knowledge Library is separate from the AfricanGPT language datasets, dictionaries, embeddings and translation pairs.
