Flutterwave is a Nigerian fintech company founded in 2016 by Olugbenga "GB" Agboola and Iyinoluwa "E" Aboyeji. It provides payment infrastructure that allows businesses and individuals to make and accept payments across Africa and internationally. Flutterwave supports over 150 currencies and multiple payment methods including cards, mobile money, bank transfers, and USSD. By 2024, the company had processed over 500 million transactions worth more than US$31 billion. Flutterwave became Africa's most valuable startup in 2022, achieving a valuation of US$3 billion.
