Wli Waterfalls (also spelled Wli Falls or Agumatsa Falls) are located in the Volta Region of Ghana near the border with Togo. The site is part of the Agumatsa Wildlife Sanctuary. The falls are reached by a guided trail from the village of Wli, and are widely cited as among the highest in West Africa. There are two main cascades, an upper and a lower fall; the lower fall is the easier hike and is open to most visitors, while the upper fall requires a longer guided trek. The pool at the base of the lower fall is home to a large colony of fruit bats.
