The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is the independent constitutional body responsible for conducting elections and referenda in Kenya. It was established under Article 88 of the 2010 Constitution. IEBC delimits electoral boundaries, conducts voter registration (including the Kenyan diaspora abroad), regulates campaign financing, and conducts general elections every five years for the President, Senators, Members of the National Assembly, County Governors and Members of County Assemblies. Eligible Kenyans aged 18 and above with a national identity card or valid passport can register as voters at any IEBC office or designated outreach point.
