Tips for Better Results

  • Use simple words: "hello", "mother", "school", "water" match our dictionary directly
  • Synonyms work: "mom", "dad", "thanks", "hi", "doc" are all recognised
  • GSL grammar note: Sign languages often follow Topic-Comment order (e.g. "Hospital where?" instead of "Where is the hospital?")
  • Facial expressions matter: Questions need raised or furrowed eyebrows — the description notes tell you which
